In 2018 Pearl came from a breeder who was giving her away as she is not an ideal example of her breed but she is a sweet family dog.

Pearl has her own bed that she sleeps on.

Her family described her this way:: Pearl is an affectionate and gentle dog, she is used to children and cats and being groomed etc, she is food motivated (feed by herself) and knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, leave it, bed, etc. She does have some habits like putting her front paws on people and whining when she wants something.
Like a true Cocker, she likes to sniff the ground and has her nose on the ground. She would make a great sniffer dog, or have games involved with her nose, like Find & Seek, or tracking. 

Pearl is being rehomed because she comes from a very busy family and they don't have the time to commit to playing with her and taking her for walks. The family has thought long and hard about this decision. It is not something that they envisionned, but having a young family is their priority.

IDEAL NEW Dog Owners/Caretakers:
-- a couple with time on their hand or,
-- a family with older children -- 10 years old or older and who are NOT a busy family with committments that will leave Pearl on her own for long periods.
-- wants to train Pearl, and give her a job
--ideally without another dog, but if they make friends ....

4 weeks Life Skills Class (worth $110) If you don't wish to take the class, the cost is the same.

registered --change of ownership. Your date of birth is required to register a dog

cheaper homestays (can save hundreds if you use us!)

ongoing help with training via email/phone after taking our class (priceless!)

There is a 3 day trial. You should know pretty soon if she will be a good fit. If for whatever reason, Pearl doesn't fit into your lifestyle, she comes back to us and your money refunded less $40-- you keep the book for your next dog.
